Envisioned as a satellite community of Hanoi, Hoang Mai Park City is a 90 hectare, residentially-led, mixed-use development that emphasizes the role of open space and streetscapes in creating a desirable urban fabric. The weave and scale of streets, blocks, and open spaces are designed to promote a series of walkable neighborhoods in which all services and amenities are within easy reach. Integrated with the community's walkable scale is a network of green spaces, both public and semi-public, that vary in size and character from civic and monumental to secluded and intimate.
Situated immediately to the north of Chu Van An Memorial Park, Hoang Mai Park City enjoys expansive park views along the community's entire southern frontage, together with unobstructed, south exposure to sunlight. Five finger parks extend the presence of the park directly into the residential neighborhoods, while the Chu Van An Mall, a two-block central park, serves as a green centerpiece for the entire development.
The major central arterial roadway, Hoang Mai Boulevard, forms the major east-west spine of the development, along which many of the residential, institutional, and commercial buildings are organized. The northern half of the site is more diverse in use, responding to the visibility and easy access from the adjacent Third Ring Road.
The southern half of Hoang Mai Park City is predominantly residential, and capitalizes on views of direct access to Memorial Park. These blocks are joined by an interior shopping street that runs the full length of the development.
